black+white
I am studying a novel for this semester, the title is To Kill A Mockingbird. believe me, when you see that novel in first time, you will say 'what is this? you want me to read this old language kinda book?' because for in a first place, i am not attracted at all to read that novel. it was soooo boring, lame and make me wanna sleep every time i read that novel. i mean, who like old English language...especially the language is in 1930-s...we are in the modern and global era...they want us to go back to the past...not to the future..well, that is my first expression for that novel.
but, after Miss Leong, our ES lecturer explains to us that this novel is about a discrimination between blacks and whites, i found out this novel is kinda caught my interest because this novel is not like any other blacks and whites stories..i have read quiet stories that involve blacks and whites discrimination but this one is different. A white girl likes a black guy? that is unnatural for them in 1930-s..that happened in a place called Maycomb, southern America if i was not mistaken (Am! plezz make a correction if i'm wrong..huhu) and sometimes this story amused me because there is a girl named Mayella Ewell, she's tempted a Negro..she's fall in love with the Negro..and the sad thing is, that freaking lady accused Tom Robinson (the black community) want to rape her...very not mature la...if you want him, you said to your father and get married la...ape lagii...huhuhu...but, why she didn't do that? because people who was born to be the Ewells, they were categorized as a rude, dirty, do their own way, breaks the rules kinda of community..

if they break the rule, every body in that country would not dare to say it..if you want to die early, you are welcome to advice them..any way, reading this story makes me realize every body deserve to have a happy life. every body needs freedom...like blacks..they were suffering from being discriminate. The whites didn't like them, and they had a some kind like a boundaries thing to make sure that they know and don't cross the line. Discrimination was very strong on that era..i still don't really get it why they have to discriminate blacks and treat them bad. Miss Leong said, she's has read so many books related to this discrimination. now, i know why...quiet interesting la...because from here, we know what happened in the past, why there are so many discrimination, the people behave in a different way, human nature, and others...so, yea...i kinda like it...but, even though i like it, there is no way i'm going for a second time...i think once is mooooore than enough..you think i'm really hardworking to khatam this novel...~~ i don't think sooo...noo..nooo..no more..maybe i'll read the summary and the commentary...
