are we professional...?

Before this, i keep saying that 'Pendidikan Negara' is boring because we have to listen to the lecture during that class. i almost fall asleep...but, after listen and listen and gain more knowledge about education. i soon realize that there is a silver lining between the cloudy clouds. Lat week, in PN..we studied about teachers as a profession job. The lovely Chinese lecturer asked how somebody recognize you as a teacher? i was thinking that maybe the way we talk..walk...eat..um..i dunno...then, she explained that they recognize us the way we talk, because most of teachers speak very carefully..i mean, people can understand us. another one is...hand gesture. teachers like to use hand gestures every time they talk. so, that are some of things that how people recognize us and categorize as a teacher. thinking about that, i still remember when i was in form 5.

when my friends and i wanted to do a presentation in front or i want to explain something to my friends. i couldn't stop by using lots of hand gestures..and my friends always mocking me by copying me moving my both hands. sometimes, they asked 'why you always move your hands move like that, move like this..'...sometimes, 'could you please do not move your hands so often...it makes me dizzy..'  so, i tried to hide cuz' i don't wanna make it obvious..but, i couldn't help it. it's just automatically happen...every time i want to explain something, my hands just moving...i feel handicapped if i don't use my both hands. feel weird..~~

ok, back to the topic..during that lecture, i found out that we are not yet to be called a professional compared with lawyers, accountants...and i was wondering why..then, the lecturer explained most of people still don't want to accept us as a professional because there some reasons they give and obviously i'm not Albert Einstein who can remembers all the things..so, i just remember some of the reasons. which is, they claimed that the so-called 'TEACHERS' can give to anyone who is teaching...meaning that, people who graduated after SPM can teach a kindergarden school and they also call as a teacher even though they don't have an official certificate and didn't enter the Teachers Trainees in Institute..every body can still call him or her a teacher...so...when people ask 'what is your job?'....she/her will answer 'i'm a teacher..' so, obviously...yup..we can't hide it.

That reason is interesting and it caught my mind to put it inside my head and think back...are we deserved to be call as a professional? humm...as for me..it's okey if we(future teacher..InsyaAllah..)didn't call as professional job or be called as a professional job because for me, what is the most important thing is when we do, it is because of Allah s.w.t..we jihad to His way..teach the future generations to be a PERSON when they grow up. ^_^
