Answering the question "what's the big deal?"

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious and The Most Merciful...

Alhamdulillah...my institute is chosen by Duli yang teramat mulia Raja Perak Darul Ridzuan Raja Dr. Nazrin Shah Ibni Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah to come and pray 'Terawih' together with us..it's an honor to have him in IPGM Kampus Ipoh. For non-muslims, Terawih is really special to Muslims because 'Terawih' can only be performed in Ramadhan month (usually we pray 5 times a day, but for this month, we add on 4 more rakaat+3 rakaat witir, and pray at the night after Isyak Prayer..if you don't get it what i'm trying to say, try to google it..^_^). Due to this Ramadhan month, all Muslims are compulsary to fasting which is starts from dawn until sunset. This month also is where Muslims should seeking for rewards and the best part for Muslims is 'Lailatul Qadar'...'Lailatul Qadar' is the blessed and holiest night which is happens most likely one of the odd nights on the last ten days of Ramadhan.

This is the night where the gates of treasurers will open as wide as it can and the angels will come down. The person who gets this 'Lailatul Qadar' is often engage in prayers, recitation of Qur'an and praying to Allah. i hope that i can meet with 'Lailatul Qadar' night..InsyaAllah..

okey! back to the topic! basically the reason why i type this title because it seems to me that i would like to answer that question from anonymous person which is technically she doesn't know at all what's going on. so, at first! yea...it's kinda sticky to have a 'ROYAL HIGHNESS' comes and visit us in this...umm..well..not really a high standard place. when we think on the negative sides, yea...it's a lot to say. Honestly i say, in the first place, i also feel like it's kinda protocol-thingy so, it has nothing to do with me, so i just feel like want to break fast in my room because it will not be crowded as this event will be, not noisy, i can focus to my food, comfortable, not dealing with some other people and so on. BUT, let me put this from a different perspective thoughts:

first= he's a royal highness and we are the commons. we should respect them and welcome them to come at our institute. (HE'S THE KING, PEOPLE!!)
second= Technically, he owns this state and obviously, i'm a Kelantanese and i should show some respect and saying that hello! i'm staying at your state for a 5 years to come..
third= he's a guest and we are the host, InsyaAllah..we will get a reward if we welcome our guest to our 'home'.
fourth= FREE FOODS!

the main reason why i write this because after the class, i go back to my hostel with such a tiring face and i left my door open. so, i heard some girl said "Actually, it's just a 'Raja muda' what's the big deal?" (laughing) so, what i'm trying to say is not that we are soooo eager to see him because you know, common people, never see a king very closely to us and that's why they wanna go to that event. actually, i'm not thinking like that, because in my state, Kelantan..especially our Tengku Mahkota kelantan is always go to the inland, visit the poors, the disabled people with wearing a plain white t-shirt and a white beret. so do our Menteri Besar Kelantan. so, for me, it is normal to have some of the Royals come and visiting. it's not that i'm biased to my own state. i'm sure all states have a very good kings and Menteri Besar and it's just the way that they give services to common people are different. i just want you to see the way i'm explaining.

so, it is not like that. it's just that the sense of responsibility or the awareness among us. yes, i know, if we think that again, it is very troublesome. with the cloudy whether...but, when we think from positive aspect..the thing actually not as bad as we think if we're not complaining. because not all things aren't easy, sometimes you have to get through the obstacles before you reach the success. be a GRATEFUL PERSON.. ^_^
